Thanks for checking out our Website and the ministries of Faith UMC in Freeport Illinois. 

For the past several weeks we here at Faith UMC have been Celebrating Faith.  Now that does not mean we have been just talking about how great we are.  The Faith we are celebrating is every individuals faith in God ,Jesus Christ and theHoly Spirit.  We have celebrate those who have gone before us and established so much and prepared so much for us to have today.  We celebrate our faithfulness as good stewards of all which God has blessed us that we may prepare a promise for others yet to come.  We have been celebrating our opportunity to give back to God out of the abundance we have recieved.

      Now that last sentence may seem like we are out of sync with what is happening in the world, the failing ecopnomy, the drop in stockmarkets and the "R" word "Recession".  But let me assure you, we are not out of sync.  We are fully aware of the devasting impact the state of our economy has on our memebrs, and our community, and our world, but we are holding fast to our Faith which sees past the problems and impacts out outlook as people who have been blessed by the Love of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Come join us in Worship on SUndays at 8:15 and 10:45 am or adult and children Sunday School at 9:30 am.  You may find that this is the very place God is leading you to.  We know God has lead us here to prepare a place for you.
